Hi. So a lot of patients come in wondering how they can get a nice lift and a nice arch in the shape of their brow with Botox, sort of a Botox brow lift.
So essentially kind of explaining the musculature of the eye, the muscle around the eye is a sphincter. It’s called the orbicularus, and it actually moves when you smile or make faces. It moves in from all the way around the outside of the eye. Botox, Dysport, or Xeomin can be used to relax the muscles in the periphery of the crow’s feet to not only rid yourself of the crow’s feet or soften those lines, but also to really help to give nice arch in the brow.
I have my actual before and after photos for us to kind of see how it works. So these are my photos before Botox, Dysport, or Xeomin. You can see that here I’m pulling in from the muscles all the way around the eye here, and I have the beginning of what’s a little crows feet.
And then after I have Botox, I have softened all of these lines and the arch in my brow likes to hold up the eyelid of it better, so you can actually see more of my eyelid. And there’s a lot of the softening of all the lines as well as an arch and a nice lift to my brow. So that is a Botox brow lift.
