Jennifer brings her years of nursing and nurse practitioner experience as well as her calming and compassionate bedside manner to Skin by Lovely’s clinical team. Before moving to California, I was working in acute care managing post-operative patients in a vascular surgery ICU. Once I arrived in Los Angeles, I decided it was the right time to pursue my dream of working in aesthetics.
When I got the interview at Skin by Lovely Santa Monica, I was ecstatic! Working at Skin by Lovely has been a dream come true.
I moved here for the weather so living in a warm and sunny climate is definitely my favorite thing about Los Angeles.
I’m also grateful to work in LA which is truly the hub of aesthetic medicine.
Honestly, I was surprised how humble the providers (Physicians, Advanced Practitioners and Nurses) have been that I’ve worked and trained with.
Attending trainings with expert injectors who are down to earth and grateful for what they get to do as well as being able to teach and share their skills was a bit unexpected but so refreshing!
I grew up in a small town twenty minutes north of Boston, Massachusetts.
My favorite memories were traveling to Cape Cod, Nantucket, and Martha’s Vineyard in the summertime with family and friends.

I have been able to use it as both my serum and moisturizer. Even with dry skin, I find it very hydrating and light enough to wear under makeup.
I would recommend taking courses in neurotoxins and dermal fillers prior to applying for a position in aesthetics. That way you have some background knowledge before you start injecting independently.
My coworkers help to keep me motivated every day.
We have a morning huddle that gets everyone pumped up in the mornings before we start our day!
I see myself injecting at Skin by Lovely and hopefully helping to teach novice injectors!
I love teaching and think it’s a wonderful way to give back to the community.
My proudest accomplishment was graduating as a Family Nurse Practitioner. I worked hard in my undergraduate studies and as a medical assistant prior to starting my FNP track at Simmons College. That was a pivotal moment for me where my hard work and long nights studying paid off.
I am also a proud aunt to my two nieces Olivia and Sienna who are back home in Boston. I cherish the moments I spend with them and enjoy watching them grow into fantastic young girls!
