Katia Ruiz is a Family Nurse Practitioner from Seattle. She attended Seattle University where she earned her bachelor’s of science in nursing in 2014 and graduated with honors from Georgetown University’s Family Nurse Practitioner program in 2020. Before joining the team at Skin by Lovely, Katia worked in critical care and also served as a public health nurse during the pandemic.

Katia has a passion for empowering others to feel relaxed and confident in their own skin. Katia’s personal journey and struggle with acne growing up introduced her to the wonderful benefits aesthetics, skincare and dermatology have to offer for both physical and mental health wellness. In her practice, Katia is committed to the cura personalis, a Latin phrase embodied in her Jesuit education meaning “care of the whole person.” She believes in the importance of listening to her patients to create a tailored plan for their aesthetic goals. Each day Katia looks forward to building trust and relationships with her patients from all different backgrounds!
